Susanne Höppner (Düsseldorf, Alemania 1960), graduada en Diseño Gráfico en la "Llotja" de Barcelona vive y trabaja en esta ciudad desde 1983. En sus obras representa ironías de la vida a través de objetos de uso diario (sillas, zapatos, discos, gafas, collages) objetos "rescatados" y después manipulados utilizando diversos materiales y técnicas. La artista "secuestra" los objetos de su contexto habitual y crea con ellos nuevas "historias" para provocar en el espectador de sus obras el sentido del humor y la capacidad de reírse de uno mismo y de las "extravagancias" de nuestra sociedad de consumo.Desde 1993 expone en diferentes galerías de Alemania y España y ha participado en ferias de arte como Artexpo y NewArt de Barcelona, Arte Sevilla, Arte Caracas,etc.Aparte de de vender sus obras en galerías también se pueden alquilar o adquirir las piezas para la decoración de escaparates, escenarios, platós, espectáculos, spots de publicidad, decoración de interiores (viviendas, despachos, hoteles...) etc.-------------------------------Susanne Höppner, (Düsseldorf, Alemania 1960), graduated in Graphic Design at «Llotja» of Barcelona lives and works in this city since 1983.
